Preparing for your Botox appointment!

• Avoid blood thinning medications 5-7 days before your scheduled appointment such as Advil, Aspirin, Aleve, Ibuprofen, fish oil, etc (talk to your doctor if you take prescription blood thinners).
• Avoid alcohol 3 days before your scheduled appointment to lower your risk of bruising
• Stay hydrated, this will improve the healing process! 

Post-treatment care

• Avoid laying down for 4 hours after your treatment 
• Avoid intense exercise for at least 24 hours 
• Use cold compresses or Acetaminophen/Tylenol for pain/swelling
• Avoid touching/rubbing the area for 24 hours 
• Avoid applying make-up to the treated areas for 24 hours 
• Avoid direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours
• Avoid facials, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, and microneedling for 7 days after treatment
• Be patient, results take 10-14 days to fully show!
